Privacy Policy

ResaleSync helps resellers list items from their eBay store on other marketplaces (Poshmark, Depop, Mercari and Vinted), keep prices in step and remove listings everywhere when an item sells. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Your account: email address, optional name, and a securely hashed password (we never see or store your password itself).
Your inventory and listings: item titles, descriptions, prices, sizes, brands, categories, photo links, and the IDs and links of your listings on each marketplace.
Your sales: what sold, where, when, for how much, and the fees, shipping-label costs and payouts the marketplaces report — used for your profit numbers.
Activity and job history: what the extension listed, delisted or changed for you, and any errors, so you can see what happened and we can fix problems.
Offers you send: when you send Vinted offers to people who liked your items, we keep the Vinted member ID number (not a name) with the item and price, so nobody gets the same offer twice.

What we don't collect

Marketplace passwords. The ResaleSync Chrome extension works through the marketplace accounts you're already signed in to in your own browser. Your marketplace logins never leave your browser.
Buyer names or addresses. When reading your sales we keep only order details needed for your numbers, not your buyers' personal information.
Your cookies. The extension checks whether you're signed in to each marketplace so it can tell you when to sign in again. Cookie values are only used inside your browser and are never sent to us.
Your browsing. The extension only acts on eBay, Poshmark, Depop, Mercari, Vinted and ResaleSync itself, and only to do what you set it up to do.

How we use it

Only to provide ResaleSync to you: show your dashboard, create and remove listings you ask for (or that your automatic settings call for), keep prices matched, calculate your profit, and keep the service working and secure. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Sharing

We share data only with the companies that run ResaleSync for us (hosting and data storage), under agreements to protect it, or when the law requires it. Your listings themselves are, of course, published to the marketplaces you choose.

Keeping it safe

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Each account's data is stored separately. Passwords are hashed with a slow, salted algorithm. The extension uses a private key tied to your account, which you can replace at any time.

Your choices

Export your inventory and sales at any time from the dashboard.
Ask us to delete your account and all of its data — email us and we'll do it within 30 days.
Remove the extension at any time from Chrome.
